Brush Tips: Ultramarines Saturnine armour

THE SHORT VERSION

James paints the Ultramarine as a battlefield counterpart to his Word Bearer, matching their bases and weathering. Warm recess shading keeps the blue used-looking without excessive damage, white shoulders break up the large armour surfaces and bright gold reinforces the Legion identity. The recipe progresses through Calgar Blue and Fenrisian Grey to Blue Horror.

Paint Splatter: Saturnine Terminators — Salamanders
