Ben helps Les convert his existing Sons of Horus collection into a 3,000-point army using the new force organisation system. Tactical Squads supply the objective-taking core, a Praetor opens an Apex Detachment for Justaerin, and Command choices unlock supporting formations for tanks, heavy weapons and Terminators.

The worked list explains Prime slots, Officer of the Line values and the separate Warlord Detachment required for Horus. Les uses a Prime Advantage to include a Dreadnought and gains further benefits from his number of Troops choices, demonstrating how narrative flexibility and the army’s practical battlefield roles can develop together.

Paint Splatter: Saturnine Terminators — Salamanders

Amber paints a weathered Salamanders Saturnine Terminator, recommending separate shoulder and collar assemblies to make the recessed areas accessible.
