Chain-driven Bloodshed

THE SHORT VERSION

Chainblades are surveyed as weapons of intimidation, status and spectacular close-range violence, from human chainswords and World Eater axes to chainfists, Knight weapons and Titan-scale engines of destruction. Famous examples include Spinegrinder, Gorechild and Coward’s Bane, while the text asks whether even loyal users might unwittingly feed Khorne. Aeldari versions favour precision, psychic activation and clean-running mechanisms; Ork choppas instead prize brute durability, noise and vibration.
