Combat Patrol: Twilight Cavalcade

THE SHORT VERSION

A new Harlequin Combat Patrol combines the Knight of Evenfall Troupe Master, Alineth Shadespinner, two six-player Troupes, two Skyweavers and a Voidweaver. Bespoke datasheets emphasise adaptable melee performance, deceptive defence and a mobile gun platform; the accompanying advice recommends weakening targets before the fragile performers commit and using speed to take objectives.

Battle Focus supplies a token each round for extra movement, avoiding Overwatch or slipping away after enemy fire. Two enhancements offer either first-strike protection or an elusive independent leader, while secondary objectives reward taking a randomly selected objective or character kills. Three stratagems improve blades, punish enemies for slain players and return a unit to reserves.

Recreating Fred Reed’s Howling Griffons
