Clans Verminus Clawleader
July 2024·pp. 94–95
THE SHORT VERSION
Painting from recessed skin and fur toward the outer cloth avoids repeatedly reaching past finished details. Most materials then share an earthshade wash, leaving the red cloth and dirty metal with their own darker treatments. A few strong highlights preserve the miniature’s dingy character, while pink glazes and brighter tail colour distinguish vulnerable flesh from rough fabric and equipment.
