Marco Schulze returns to Tyranids after a long break with a grotesque gunbeast, revisiting the fleets that appeared in earlier publications. Grombrindal reports that duardin unification has produced a noisy clan gathering rather than an easy agreement. Leila explores what endless Reforging costs a Stormcast when physical restoration no longer preserves compassion or identity. The Ruination chambers and Morrda’s final mercy arise from that tragedy rather than ordinary corruption. Bleak Citadels provide contemplation, watchful Lord-Relictors and Memorian descendants who sustain fading memories, while corvid creatures reinforce the connection between these warriors, mourning and the possibility of oblivion.

Sam’s diary describes an introductory player overcoming a large deficit, illustrating the format’s capacity for close games and late reversals.
