Readers recall the magazine issues and friendships that began or sustained their hobby, from Glazer’s Creek to international editions. James Atkinson’s Einhyr Champion and the studio’s Ymyr Conglomerate receive detailed colour recipes, while Philipp Höppner recreates Ghoulslayer with a converted Maleneth. A question about Shu’gohl considers how population, influence and Sigmarite institutions distinguish a City of Sigmar.

The historical siege recreates the Anvils of the Heldenhammer’s defence of Glymmsforge against the Legion of Grief. Dan explains drybrushing as a technique rather than a property restricted to Dry paints. Applying it across a whole model can establish large materials quickly before smaller details are tidied, especially when armour should look worn. Tank panels, tarnished Kharadron metal, gang equipment and skaven fur demonstrate how brush loading and progressively lighter layers change both texture and speed.
