Invasion Campaign: A Swift Gambit

THE SHORT VERSION

The optional Aeronautica interlude pits transport aircraft against a defending fighter force around a designated landing zone. Landing capacity is valuable to the attacker and destroying it equally valuable to the defender, with the outcome granting an outflanking ground force or increased inspirational reach in the following battle.

Suffer No Rivals

Each commander nominates two experienced units as Priority Targets, making their destruction far more valuable than ordinary objective control at the battle’s end. Markers remain held after troops move away, but protected target units cannot simply disappear into reserve, producing a hunt in which screening important units and cornering the enemy matter greatly.

A four-sided battle ties the Grand Objective to the Grand Alliance of the player taking the first turn each round.
