Constructing Everquake City
June 2023·pp. 32–37
THE SHORT VERSION
The White Dwarf team explains how it produced over six feet of fortress wall in a week for the Great Stomp finale. Measured XPS foam components form removable sections with textured masonry, a parapet and a firestep; a gate, stairs, guardian idols and broken sections make the structure usable throughout a siege. The project shows how repeatable dimensions, simple tools and fast painting turn an ambitious gaming backdrop into manageable pieces.
