Archaon Everchosen
February 2023·p. 37
THE SHORT VERSION
Kazuya Kaneko pursues an illustration-like Archaon through discrete unmixed layers. Fine lines imply transitions where colours change strongly, particularly in the lava. Blue reflections and tiny stars suggest Archaon’s power, while softer marks on Dorghar’s skin and sharper claws distinguish organic from hard materials across a project taking roughly two hundred hours.
