THE SHORT VERSION

The Uruk-hai attack divides the Fellowship into several urgent struggles. Boromir falls while protecting Merry and Pippin, and Legolas is also lost, but Frodo, Sam and Aragorn escape; the mixed outcome produces a draw and captures the scenario’s tension between rescue, sacrifice and flight.
