Ask Grombrindal: Imperial Currency

October 2019·p. 6

THE SHORT VERSION

Grombrindal explains that the Imperium uses many currencies rather than one reliably interchangeable system. Thrones, crowns, credits and local scripts coexist with trade in supplies, resources and people, reflecting the distances and inconsistencies that make a single everyday monetary standard impractical across so many worlds.

Out From the Realm of Chaos

A chronology places the partnership’s origins and revenge beside later campaigns in the Mortal Realms. Battles against Khornate daemons, an Idoneth soul-haul, an emptied festival city and a punitive Stormcast chamber show the growing host’s attraction to both personal vengeance and the destruction of perceived rivals.
