THE SHORT VERSION

Ben Humber’s Escher attempt to rescue Nokomi from Stuart Edney’s Goliaths on a vertical industrial board. A quiet approach allows the attackers to position their fighters, but an ill-judged shot sounds the alarm before their opening volley has achieved the intended result.

Knockback, falling and the arrival of reinforcements turn the rescue into a costly fight. Reina performs spectacularly in close combat, yet the gang breaks and the final attacker is hit by a krak grenade; Nokomi remains captive, giving the Ironlords victory and showing how a defensive position can overcome Goliath weaknesses in speed and range.
