Assault on Urdek

THE SHORT VERSION

Michael Wieske attacks the Urdek Refinery with Iyanden constructs while Matt Hutson defends with Dark Angels and powerful fortifications. The Planetfall mission gives the larger attacking force an orbital bombardment and close reserve arrivals, but the defender controls a heavily armed battlefield built around an older magazine display.

Both armies suffer devastating losses, and the struggle shifts from destruction to occupying the remaining objectives. The Firestorm Redoubt and Hellblasters help the Dark Angels survive long enough to claim three objectives to the Aeldari’s two, while the players identify missed charges, target choices and late objective holders as the decisive lessons.
