THE SHORT VERSION

Steve Bowerman and Tom Moore paint black-armoured Guardians with contrasting pale helmets and wraithbone weapons. Keeping the heads separate allows different undercoats and reduces repeated coverage work, while blue-grey edge highlights, turquoise details and crimson plumes give the otherwise restrained scheme enough colour to remain clear at miniature scale.
