THE SHORT VERSION

The background inset places House Raven’s immense armoury within its long alliance with Metalica. Fear the Great Devourer

The new Tyranid codex expands beyond the three best-known invasions to give seven hive fleets their own approaches to war. Its background, powers and stratagems are introduced alongside a starter collection centred on Genestealers and a tunnelling monster, emphasising the different attack patterns available within the same alien swarm.

Tactica: Tyranids

A two-sided matchup table explains both how to use Tyranids against particular enemies and how those opponents can respond. Its recurring principles are to match the right organisms to their prey, disrupt vulnerable shooters and psychic support, and concentrate damage where enemy recovery or powerful retaliation would otherwise undo the attack.

Return of the Aeldari

The Craftworlds codex brings its history forward through the Gathering Storm and the shattering of Biel-Tan, then gives the major craftworlds distinct gaming identities. The accompanying collection preview highlights adaptable wraith units and psychic leadership, while Eldrad’s miniature and the faction’s card support illustrate ways to personalise the force.
