PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 411

Painting Weathered Ironjawz

October 2016·pp. 114–115

THE SHORT VERSION

Phil Cowey uses chips, sponged blood and pale warpaint to break up blue armour and green skin on his Brutes. Brown chips with lighter lower edges suggest damaged paint, while a separate sponge sequence adds metal wear and gore with more control than flicking paint at the figure.
