The Horus Heresy: Mechanicum

October 2013·pp. 102–103

THE SHORT VERSION

Will Hayes and Mark Bedford develop the Mechanicum through older robots, Titan shapes and John Blanche’s imagery. Curved armour and backward-jointed legs connect Thallax and Castellax to a common family. Human remnants inside the machines express the organisation’s disregard for ordinary flesh. Specialised weapons suggest that those manufacturing the Imperium’s equipment keep unusual technology for themselves.
