Oliver Norman nominates the Dark Vengeance Helbrute for its disturbing mixture of armour and living flesh. Edgar Skomorowski discusses its relationship with the other contemporary Chaos models. Guy Haley’s novel follows the Mars Triumphant and its Paragonian crew through the brutal fighting on Kalidar IV. Andrew finds the military detail effective, with occasional jargon demanding closer attention.
