Jeremy Vetock: Hobby Pet Peeves

March 2013·pp. 118–119

THE SHORT VERSION

A lost Battlesuit foot sends Jeremy into an increasingly obsessive search and prompts a catalogue of familiar frustrations. Dried supplies, misplaced glue and dropped models can derail an otherwise enjoyable evening. At the gaming table, mismatched expectations and angry dice-throwing are more serious obstacles to having fun together. The column treats minor disasters with humour while drawing a firm distinction between bad luck and poor behaviour.
