INTERVIEW·WHITE DWARF 397

From the Tower of Angels

January 2013·pp. 142–145

THE SHORT VERSION

The Dark Angels sculptors explain how Chapter organisation and battle roles drive the new range as much as monastic decoration. Deathwing and Ravenwing imagery supplies a coherent language across armour, banners and vehicles, drawing from Blanche and Gallagher artwork. Different aircraft roles, independent fire support, Caliban relics and increasingly elite equipment become visible in silhouettes and details, so the models communicate both their tactical jobs and their place within the Chapter.
