INTERVIEW·WHITE DWARF 397

Dark Angels Flyers

January 2013·p. 143

THE SHORT VERSION

Dale Stringer separates the air-superiority Nephilim from the Fallen-hunting Dark Talon before defining their shared visual language. Stormtalon design cues keep them recognisably Marine, but sculpted badges, winged-sword shapes and Chapter ornament make them distinctly Dark Angels. The practical gun-and-missile fighter contrasts with the Dark Talon’s reliquaries and arcane weapons, showing how purpose changes the same underlying aircraft kit.
