Painting Goblins
December 2012·p. 107
THE SHORT VERSION
Dan’s quick Goblin method separates pale skin, ragged cloth, dirty weapons and the base. Rakarth Flesh returns over a flesh wash before Pallid Wych Flesh and orange eyes provide contrast; brown layers define the loincloth. Metallic drybrushing followed by a dirty wash makes the weapons look neglected, and textured mud receives earthy highlights. The four parallel sequences are intended to get a large, varied Goblin horde ready for play efficiently.
