Jeremy Vetock: Bad Weather and Good Games
December 2012·pp. 110–111
THE SHORT VERSION
A heatwave gives Jeremy an excuse to assemble Savage Orcs indoors and recalls a huge 1991 Dwarf-versus-Dark-Elf battle in Philadelphia. His plan to burn a bridge works until a drowned Giant becomes an improvised replacement crossing, reversing the advantage. He celebrates the shared invention and negotiation that made the game memorable despite defeat, then returns to the present when running out of green paint finally forces him outside.
