Goblin Town: Rickety Walkways, Bones and Gore
December 2012·p. 108
THE SHORT VERSION
Dan paints the modular timber scenery with most small pieces still attached to their frames, keeping the larger walkways separate for access. Rhinox Hide and Dryad Bark establish the wood, Agrax Earthshade darkens it and Baneblade Brown drybrushing reveals the grain. Pale layers pick out scattered bones, while red and a dark wash finish the gruesome remains. Only after painting does he cut the smaller pieces free and assemble the terrain.
