Fire Warrior: Fatigues

THE SHORT VERSION

Rhinox Hide and Nuln Oil make the fatigues much darker than the ochre armour. Gorthor Brown picks out the raised cloth while leaving the folds deep, separating soft uniform from hard plates. The restrained three-stage treatment keeps attention on the armour and weapons without leaving the underlying clothing unmodelled.

Embracing the Dark Future

Andrew Kenrick looks back at the Salamanders army he began with fifth edition, the allied collections it has gained and the campaigns and rivals encountered since.
