THE SHORT VERSION

The bindings begin with Zandri Dust and an Agrax Earthshade wash, then Ushabti Bone and Pallid Wych Flesh brighten the raised cords. The pale finish makes the wrapped sections legible against dark wood and metal. Leaving the wash between adjacent strands preserves the impression of separate laces rather than one solid band.

Embracing the Dark Future
