Carl Dafforn’s Black Templars

July 2012·pp. 32–33

THE SHORT VERSION

A committed Warhammer player, Carl Dafforn chooses Black Templars as his first 40K force because tabards, heraldry and martial bearing make them feel like knights in space. Shields and hammers reinforce that theme, including a Dreadnought weapon borrowed from a Nemesis Dreadknight. The walkers’ imposing silhouettes are as important to the appeal as their ability to advance while firing heavy weapons.
