Dominic Murray chooses Rohan for its models and the cinematic image of massed cavalry, starting with Théoden’s Royal Guard and Erkenbrand’s Red Shields. To control his tendency to jump between projects, he recommends a written plan, small daily sessions, a tested colour scheme and occasional character models as rewards. Distinct warbands offer room for variation without sacrificing the unity of the whole muster, and his first month earns four points.
