Dan Harden chooses Mordor and Gothmog after Isengard is claimed by another participant, theming his force around the assault on Osgiliath. Sculpted paving gives the dark Orcs a lighter setting and creates a natural rivalry with Simon’s similarly based Gondorians. House renovation limits his first month to a small Morannon Orc group and some Black Guard, leaving him with three points and a substantial painting backlog before the army can march to war.
