Assault on New Rynn City

THE SHORT VERSION

The main Apocalypse table pits a fortified Crimson Fists defence and a Reaver Titan against Ork Stompas and a mechanised horde. The Imperials deploy quickly to seize the first turn, but the Stompas’ opening return fire shreds their left flank; successful side games then bring Kantor, a Baneblade and supporting squadrons onto the field. A Thunderhawk and Drop Pods help secure the western objective, while the Orks’ late reinforcements and a final attack led by Jervis Johnson’s Warboss take the south-eastern position. Neither side establishes lasting dominance, and the city battle ends in a draw.
