Lords improve a unit’s resilience and melee threat, while a Phaeron allows an advancing phalanx to fire and charge more freely. A Command Barge turns an otherwise spare Overlord into a mobile response unit. Crypteks demand subtler matching: their chosen weapon and secondary equipment should complement the unit they join, avoiding wasted fire against incompatible targets.
