Sorcerous Pacts
August 2011·pp. 42–49
THE SHORT VERSION
Simon Grant explains how a sorcerous pact adds Daemons or Undead to a Storm of Magic army through its Monsters and Magic allowance. Such allies begin trusted but can become increasingly unreliable, so their deployment and purpose need thought as well as their raw strength. Five collections show how a pact can supply missing magical tools, a disposable attacking force or an unsettling narrative alliance.
