Black Dragon: Assembly and Sub-assemblies

August 2011·pp. 83–85

THE SHORT VERSION

The assembly sequence starts with the rocky base and tree before joining the Dragon’s tail, body, limbs and wings. Duncan Rhodes explains the choice of head and rider, the four-part throne and the value of checking the pose before gluing. Keeping the Dreadlord and saddle removable makes the later paint stages easier, and unused rider components can provide character for other Dark Elf models.
