The Flensed Soul’s Raid on Ivarra

THE SHORT VERSION

During celebrations marking Ivarra’s recovery from an Ork invasion, Kharvile’s coven secretly harvests people for a vast experiment. Scourges abduct selected soldiers so quickly that the Guard cannot identify its enemy, while disappearances grow across the hives. A later investigation finds liquefied flesh feeding an alien structure: a million human lives have been compressed into a jewel whose trapped cries please the Haemonculus.
