Painting Tomb Kings: Skeleton Warriors

May 2011·pp. 98–99

THE SHORT VERSION

Dheneb Stone sprayed over the assembled models forms the foundation for a rapid bone recipe, with Tin Bitz metal and Mechrite Red details. A generous Devlan Mud wash gives definition before pale bone mixtures, silver edges and brighter red restore the highlights. Numbered positions keep the regiment easy to reassemble, while repeated scorpion or serpent motifs unify individually decorated shields painted before removal from their frames.
