Modelling Workshop: The Land of the Dead

May 2011·pp. 54–61

THE SHORT VERSION

Duncan Rhodes and Chad Mierzwa adapt Arcane Ruins and Temple of Skulls kits into a coherent Nehekharan battlefield. Buried masonry, obelisks, ruined temples and a desert gameboard suggest a lost civilisation, while matching turquoise and gold details connect the terrain to the Tomb Kings army. Practical construction and painting sequences lead into a short battle story showing how a central monument can supply a setting and reason for conflict.
