PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 377

Skeleton Horsemen

May 2011·p. 103

THE SHORT VERSION

A mounted Liche Priest receives a dedicated cavalry bodyguard, while a second Priest on foot serves as Hierophant. Duncan paints riders and steeds together because both use the same bone method as the infantry. A recurring eye motif links the shields, with the champion distinguished by a sword and a more elaborate arrangement of hieroglyphs.
