Fallen Stonework: Stone, Sand, Turquoise and Gold

May 2011·p. 55

THE SHORT VERSION

Chad turns a few Arcane Ruins components into a half-buried fallen arch and uses colour to link it to both army and battlefield. Dark stone receives successive grey drybrushes and a brown wash; brown sand is overbrushed and highlighted toward pale yellow. Turquoise panels and shaded metallic gold provide small accents, while dusty earth and bone around the lowest recesses imply centuries of wind-blown sand.
