Army Workshop: The Rise of the Crimson King
May 2011·pp. 96–103
THE SHORT VERSION
Duncan Rhodes takes a short army-book story as the foundation for a force from Numas, adopting its disciplined regiments, crimson banners and scarlet Warsphinx. He builds infantry directly on planned movement trays and paints one stage across a complete unit at a time. Simple bone-and-bronze recipes leave room for more individual shield work, while a movable King, separate chariot components and a mounted Priest’s bodyguard support the army’s practical use.
