TACTICS·WHITE DWARF 374

The Misty Mountains

February 2011·p. 40

THE SHORT VERSION

Tom Hutchings combines cheap Goblin companies with exceptionally dangerous monsters, from the Balrog and Cave Drake to Dragons and giant spiders. Lesser beasts gain value from flank attacks rather than frontal contests, while Goblins exploit the damage their larger companions cause. A few Goblin boxes and a chosen monster begin the collection; Drûzhag is highlighted for players who want a host of animals and the ability to create more during battle.
