RULES·WHITE DWARF 372

Death in the Dark

December 2010·p. 70

THE SHORT VERSION

Optional underground terrain rules give formations reasons to contest precarious bridges and elevated mine structures. Bridge defenders are more likely to remain steadfast, but losing a fight risks extra casualties from the drop; fragile mine workings provide broad firing opportunities and may collapse under a sufficiently powerful strike. Rocky outcrops offer useful height while remaining difficult to climb, adapting studio scenery into tactical features.
