PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 371

Flayed Skin and Balefire

November 2010·p. 93

THE SHORT VERSION

Several related flesh-and-brown foundations make a Mandrake’s stolen skin garments appear assembled from different victims. Shared purple-brown shading and progressively paler Rotting Flesh highlights unify the patches while preserving their variation. A companion note transfers the glowing-rune palette to balefire, reversing the highlight direction so the flame is brightest around the creature’s hand.
