Battle Beneath the Eaves
November 2010·p. 57
THE SHORT VERSION
Every terrain feature is a Mysterious Forest in this six-turn scenario, and controlling individual woods adds victory points to the normal battle result. The player with Woodcraft Advantage chooses deployment and secretly fixes each forest’s identity after setup, allowing careful use of dangerous or beneficial terrain. The article explains how that knowledge can protect flanks, aid skirmishers or place poisoned attacks where they will matter, making reconnaissance a meaningful reward in the linked campaign.
