THE SHORT VERSION

Joe prepares a white Raider sail with carefully thinned blue-grey shading to emphasise its curve, then blocks in a black circular field. Plotting the red icon as points before joining them helps establish its proportions, after which orange and pale highlights add depth. The article also explains that hulls and canopies use the Kabalite armour method on a larger scale.
