The chronology follows Gorthor’s invasion through the Imperial calendar, from the knightly crusade that leaves provinces exposed to the Beastlord’s winter death at Hergig. Visions, ritual challenges, green-skin defeats and the gathering of monsters explain how the horde expands before devastating Ostland and Hochland. The final siege culminates in Ludendorf killing Gorthor even as he is mortally wounded, ending a threat remembered long after the survivors rebuild.
