Jervis Ponders…
March 2010·pp. 75–86
THE SHORT VERSION
Jervis follows the battle’s changing priorities, from the Guard’s distant third objective to the cost of spreading fire across Ork walkers. He praises the Orks’ timed Waaagh! but warns that destroying the enemy can pull even a winning force away from the objectives. The late Imperial effort demonstrates why a battered army should keep playing for a draw, while the final Ork counter-moves show the value of preserving a few scoring models.
