The White Dwarf in Space
November 2009·pp. 76–77
THE SHORT VERSION
Andy examines Dave Thomas’s humorous subscription miniature. A beer-powered backpack, retro equipment and a captured Goblin in disguise extend the joke around Grombrindal’s spacesuit. Keith’s orange-and-blue painting choice creates stronger separation than the sculptor’s original cream concept. Short recipes explain the suit and backpack, linking the finished model to the collaboration behind it.
