PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 354

Galadhrim Horses

June 2009·p. 100

THE SHORT VERSION

Pale flesh and a darker mane distinguish the horses from their richly coloured riders. A dark wash establishes recesses before progressively lighter grey and white layers restore definition. The saddle cloth reuses the rider’s red and blue palette. The guide applies the same four-stage discipline to a different kind of surface.
