THE SHORT VERSION

Mat’s Galadhrim face Adam’s Mordor host in a roughly three-thousand-point Battle for the Pass. Mordor initially gains ground through magic, monsters and sustained pressure. The deaths of the Necromancer and Balrog reverse the contest, with Glorfindel sacrificing himself in the decisive fighting. The players stop at a seventeen-to-seven Elven lead and assess Courage, Might and the cost of powerful individual models.
